After a wonderful night's sleep you descend our victorian mahogany staircase and enter our spacious and newly decorated guest breakfast room. Two tables are located in the conservatory which would have originally housed the victorian Aspadystra's!
We offer three other tables in the main breakfast room, which originally would have been partitioned off from the drawing room, where the Victorian gentleman would have enjoyed cards and cigars and the ladies could retire to enjoy more gentle conversation, separate of course!
There is a table for every guest, no waiting for someone to finish, and no being rushed to finish... and certainly no allocated time! We offer breakfast from 8 until 9.30am, and do not need any pre-ordering of breakfast. For guests who wish to sit together we do offer a larger table of four, which we endeavour to offer, dependent on other guests needs.
Your cooked breakfast is cooked to order, and is not of the cash and carry variety. We use a local long established butcher and top quality produce. By the time you have enjoyed our large buffet selection ( including home baked Muffins) it won't be too long a wait.
The ceiling still has it's original victorian plasterwork and cornicing and it's dogtoothed picture rail.
In the colder weather there is a log burning fire to warm you toes by, you won't want to go out!
